Friday evening Sarah & Nelson sponsored a church game night, good fellowship & fun games made for an enjoyable evening. I, unfortunately, only ended up being there for about an hour as I had to work late and then I had to pack for NC.
For those of you who are wondering, Quems is a very fun card game which involves teams of two who create a secret signal whereby they can let each other know if they have the cards needed to win and which point the other team member has to say the word “Quems”. The biggest challenge comes from the fact that if a member of an apposing team sees the signal and says “Cut” the team who did not signal discreetly enough loses a point and the “cutting” team gains the point.
Wikipedia has more details on the actual game play, though their rules differ slightly from ours:
Ok, before any of you who were playing Quems at game night take offense at my caption just remember, she was my team mate and we did win one out of the two games. 🙂
Enjoy!

Are you laying claim to the title of “king?”
Not exactly… but that works to. 🙂
