Good Evening,

Just so no one is confused the post title has to do with the picture having the illusion of speed and nothing to do with the rate our vehicle was traveling relative to the posted speed limit. πŸ™‚ This, BTW, is another great reason to purchase a vehicle with a moon roof if you are a photographer.

Well, we have come to the end of the saga, when this picture was taken we were somewhere in the hills of VA making good time on our last leg of the journey. Over 12 days away from home over 3,400+ miles of roads without any mishaps or vehicle troubles, of our own, worth mentioning, many, many hours of good, edifying fellowship, with many new friends and deeper camaraderie with old friends, new business connections and increased industry knowledge, all in all it was a simply amazing trip for which I thank God that He provided the opportunity, sustained and guided us, and brought us safely home again. Best of all, everyone who was part of our traveling group is still talking to each other. πŸ™‚

God Bless,
~Josiah

  1. So you stuck your camera (or yourself too?) out through the moonroof?! Wow.
Great colors…taken with one of the really nice lenses, I see.

  2. Thank you Maximillian! I actually just stuck the camera out and rested it on the roof, it would be interesting to try one’s whole body but there really isn’t any way to safely do that in a Jetta. πŸ™‚ Actually, I have done this technique with very similar results using the kit 18-55 which can give the interesting effect of being able to actually see the hood.

  3. This is awesome! Great colors and interesting perspective. It was fun driving through those hills. πŸ™‚
