Good Afternoon,

Saturday morning I decided to take some time and conduct a short photo shoot out at my brother Jonathan’s garden. It is probably almost the nicest looking has been this year and the morning light falling across the even rows of lettuce and other vegetables was really quite beautiful. Plus I actually got to spend some time in the sun away from my computer monitors. 🙂

Can anyone guess what the critical ingredient in this photo is?

Enjoy!

  1. Would it be a wireless flash placed to light up the back of the pepper? Either that or HDR……

  2. The critical ingredient would be the pepper?

  3. Pepper!

  4. Yes! How could you call the photo “the pepper” without it? So it is obviously the most critical ingrediant.

  5. Good job, Joshua! You are starting to catch onto all of my tricks. 🙂 One other question for you, however, which direction is the light coming from, relative to the edges of the frame?

Hmm, that is true, the pepper is rather critical to the shot, however, in a photo recipe it is the lights and camera setup used and not the subject that makes up the ingredients.

  6. I believe the flash was placed below the bottom left of the frame.
