Good Evening,

Here is a shot I took using available lighting from a large fluorescent fixture to the right of the frame. I shot this image very quickly as I did not want to distract this gentleman from his task any longer then I needed to. The upshot of my speed was and the fact I had to take the picture as he stood was that I did not notice a highly distracting pipe in the background. Not only that, but I did not have a flash available so his face was darker then I liked. As you may have guessed it was Photoshop time! To go through my list of edits would be rather tedious, but suffice to say that I massaged the light into the pattern I wanted and cleaned up the background. Color correction was of course required as fluorescent lighting just never seems to look right.

In case you were wondering the background is actually the ceiling. My subject was on the orange scissor lift that you can see in my photo from last Friday.
