Good Evening,

Today I did a short photo shoot of our church’s pulpit & communion table for my former boss, Don, who I worked with to craft this set. For this shot I used with my flash, mounted on a tripod, as my key light with the diffused light coming through the curtains providing fill. No diffuser on the flash but I did have the full Tungsten sticky filter on it to simulate sunset, a look that I later mostly corrected out because I the large amount of fill light created a rather strange color scheme.

Contrast enhancement with Levels, NR, CC, and sharpening gave me the final look in post.

Enjoy!

  1. Love the lighting!

  2. Very nice, Josiah! I really like the bit of shadow the arrangement casts on the pulpit.

Ah, spring has come–Mrs. Leaman changed the floral arrangement! 🙂
